Alekzander Dzivak | Fort Worth, Texas

At 19, Alekzander Dzivak was volunteering with Meals on Wheels in Tarrant County when an ordinary delivery became an emergency. On March 10, 2026, he arrived at the home of a 72-year-old woman and realized something was seriously wrong. She was experiencing a diabetic emergency and was unable to move normally. Alekzander called 911 and stayed with her, helping keep her calm until emergency responders arrived. He had only been volunteering with Meals on Wheels for a few months. His willingness to pay attention, recognize that someone needed help, and remain with her transformed a routine act of service into one that may have saved her life. His service has received some public recognition, including recognition from the Fort Worth City Council.

Why This Hidden Warrior Was Nominated

Alekzander demonstrates that meaningful service does not require a title or years of experience. He simply showed up to serve and, when someone needed more from him, he stayed.
